or atypical scuffing. Synthetic media can be selected for tickets, and label media offers several adhesive options. One basic measurement of thermal print paper media quality is archival rating. PrintekMobile Media supplies standard long-life receipt paper with a 15-year archival rating.  This means that printed documents will last for 15 years or more in standard storage conditions. PrintekMobile receipt paper will not fade or darken in regular use or handling.

Ideal for most receipt and ticketing applications, PrintekMobile Receipt Media provides high-sensitivity for the crispest image. PrintekMobile Long Life Receipt Media has a higher resistance to moisture, oils and UV light than other media brands. Used for most receipt applications such as field service, route delivery, public safety, and mobile POS. PrintekMobile Receipt Media comes in two grades; a standard grade for economical everyday use, and a premium grade when a higher-quality image is important.

STANDARD LABEL MEDIA
Crisp Barcode, Graphics and Character Imaging
PrintekMobile Standard Label Media is ideal for most labeling applications when exposure to the elements is not a factor. The Standard Label Media is thicker than the standard receipt media, and provides high-sensitivity for the darkest, crispest imaging, with high resistance to scratching, moisture, oils and UV light.  

UV-COATED LABELS
Tough Labels - Resistant to Harsh Elements
PrintekMobile UV-Coated Labels are made with a proprietary process, which give them some unique and exciting properties. They are paper label media, which provide an excellent balance between cost and quality. UV coating provides a barrier to the harmful elements, including sunlight, which normally fades a direct thermal printed image. The UV coating also imparts a weather-resistant seal to the paper. The printed images and label substrate are long lasting in outdoor environments, with good image contrast and excellent scratch-resistance.

Applications for both UV Coated Labels and Fusion Mobile Media (see below) include warehouse labeling, lumber or nursery yard tagging, manufacturing floor processes, automobile inventory and AIAG apps, pallet tags, and virtually anywhere a user is trying to transform a desktop process to a productivity-enhancing mobile process in challenging environmental conditions. 

FUSION MOBILE MEDIA
Virtually Indestructible
Fusion Mobile Media is a unique label product, which allows direct thermal label printers to produce thermal transfer labels for longevity in outdoor applications. This Self Contained Thermal Transfer Label (SCTTL) can be made with either paper substrate or synthetic substrate, in self-adhesive or hangtag form. As in traditional thermal transfer technology; the actual printed image is made by transferring material from a thermally activated ribbon to a receptive media surface. With Fusion, however, the ribbon is actually “fused” to the printable media and contained on the same roll, eliminating the need for a separate ribbon roll. The small individual ribbon component of the label is simply removed and discarded immediately after the print job. The result is the ultra-readable, super tough image of traditional thermal transfer combined with the convenience of direct thermal. The synthetic Fusion media then are labels, which are virtually indestructible and readable forever!

Flexible Label Sizes
Enhance your label flexibility utilizing continuous label media.   Continuous label media saves time and money by allowing you to print various label lengths from the same roll of label stock. No need to switch printer labels from 2, 3, or 4” label lengths – change jobs, without changing media. With no requirement for black mark sensing, continuous label media can even be used in your mobile receipt printer.  

SYNTHETIC LABEL MEDIA
Waterproof
This synthetic media offers maximum protection against moisture.  Synthetic media has the smoothest surface for the best imaging quality as well as maximum strength and durability.  Waterproof synthetic media has a higher cost but is ideal for critical, outdoor applications.
